If you are reading this, it is because we have crossed paths somewhere along the way. Maybe a conference hallway, a meetup, a job, or a late night Twitter thread.

We have been building a catalog of open-source apps that replace the expensive software companies pay for every month. To support this open-source work, we're launching Scalpels, a thin SaaS that handles forking and installing these apps for the user with a couple of clicks. Scalpels provides automatic updates along with a unified dashboard and MCP. In short, Scalpels turns these small, sharp tools into a single modular SaaS, running inside the customer's own Laravel Cloud account.

We officially launch on October 31. Building great software is (at least for us) more fun than marketing it. So we are building a street team to help us and we would like you on it.
